Pearly, on a small planet with 6 billion humans working our way toward 12 billion and more the forms of government and social orginization and economics developed back when there were only say 2 billion or fewer of us here will reach a point where they just don't work any more. I guess that is one thing (in addition to the market tips) that intrests me here; lots of intelligent people with a rather CYNICAL view of things. People here are super focused on economic anomolies (how many dollars, how much debt, how hi the market ect) but what about the PHYSICAL anomolies of this world we live in? How much we consume compared to the average Asian. How thin the atmosphere is in comparision to the CO2 we generate. Did you know that our 20 million bbls of oil per day is a cube 600 ft plus on a side? Do you know how much CO2 that is at 14.7psi (one atmosphere)? Have you ever sat beside a train track with a calculator and pencil and pad and noted the amount of coal headed by to run the generators south of here? Have you noticed what is happening to out forrests, disease, insects ect. We don't even have as many pestersome INSECTS here as we uned to, except for asia tiger mosquitos and fire ants, both introduced. I know and hav ebeen watching beach erosion at several plces for over 20 years (some in Asia) ands it is unbelievable everywhere. We will be forced to do something....or stew in our own filth...and it will require BIG changes at the top. WSR
