The deadline for recounting can be overruled by the FSC.

The Reps won't dare to accept it since they have established a lead.

They won't because their man's lead is smaller than the margin of error of machine counting and they occupy the seats with authority to close down the vote count.

They won't because their man is willing to speak from both sides of his mouth. He trusts people, but hand-counters are destined to cheat him of his votes.

(Read that as he trusts only the right people: the scrooge who can't sleep unless they've had the chance to smell their money every night before going to bed.)

They won't because they have enough historical figures who near the end of their lives are willing to be political whores for one last brief moment in the limelight.

The only consolation I see in a Bush admin is that the high income Dems will have more after tax income. I sure hope they will be mad enough to pour that money back into politics for 02 and 04.

Go, Hillary in 04, go!
