FWIW, it seems that the media tide may be turning on Vice President Gore. What I've seen this evening is not pretty at all. If this absentee ballot issue is not quelled by VP Gore pronto, public support for him is going to evaporate pronto. No spin, just the facts please. My God, using a technicality to aggressively attempt to eliminate the vote of an individual, who, through no fault of their own, appropriately exercised their right to vote absolutely stuns me. To do so against those who risk their their lives daily so I might live free, absolutely horrifies me. (FWIW, MSNBC is flashing FL law - they seem to think FL law may not require a postmark if the ballot is witnessed & both the witness & the voter both have signed & dated the ballot on or before Nov 7. {BTW, when federal law says "OR", then either criteria will pass muster..... both are not necessary.... can't speak to FL law though}) Say it isn't so....... Ö¿Ö
