It would be interesting to see how many people who were long the NOV 27 1/2 puts actually exercised them. It would depend on how their brokerage firm assigned the closing value of ORCL. Usually an option has to be 75 cents in the money at the close in order to have the options automatically exercised. I'm sure there is going to be problems with some accounts.

If the closing price of a stock is close to strike price I always contact my broker to let them know if I want to exercise or not. I don't depend on them to exercise.
