Well, if "rules are there to be followed", then why didn't she follow the rule that allows political parties to request hand recounts, and allows canvassing boards to grant them? Gore may be The Devil Incarnate, for all I know, but that does not justify someone making a government decision who stands to gain personally from that decision. Aren't there "rules" against that sort of thing?
