Shack; Re >> I am a believer in the pattern combined with the volume <<<
that's great & if you know of
a data source taht adjust the volume across splits
share it with me.
-----------
Another thing that CNBC does all the time that is a gross
disservice and very miss-leading is compare the daily volume of an exchange with it's historic volume.

1 they do not extrapolate or even hint that we should
extrapolate that data for the total amount of issues traded in the past to the amount traded today.
2 I have never seen them extrapolate for all the splits,
all they do is say it's above normal or below normal
for this time of the year based on last year or the last
several years. But the dumb asses can't know what normal
is to start without doing the home work it takes
to extrapolate both the amount of issues traded AND all
those who have slit often 2 for 1; or 3 for 1; which all other things equal should have increased the volume we now see for it to be called normal when compared to past volume.

BTW
CNBC sucks..and is nothing but one big info-comercial
hired by the Wall Street sales force to push out more
and more stock in their attempt to out inflate the
Government..they wouldn't recognize any real news
if they actually saw it.
