Barry, I think that I have the answer, finally, the media let us know that the count (right now 89 plus for gore in Broward and 12 plus for Bush in Palm beach) are only the simple ballots (no question asked, fully punched through). In Borward they have 1000 or so ballots in the "questionable" category (hanging, pregnant, dimpled chads), which will be decided on (to determine the "voter's intention") by the canvassing board. The battle is still raging, since some people estimate that those might be mostly Gore's. I think that Dade is going to do the "rational" thing and let the machine take out all the "unquestionable" and do manual examination only with the questionable ballots (is that "legal"?). Zeev
