why didn't you post this as well ? We ran our benchmarks straight out of the box on standard, everyday software, meaning we are not using any specialized Pentium-4 optimized software. Due to the differences in the processor architectures, many pieces of software will have to be re-compiled to take advantage of the Pentium 4, meaning older non-compiled software may run slower than it should be running at. This means some of the benchmarks may look slow now, but these companies may put out Pentium 4 specialized patches to take full advantage of the chip
