Remarkable piece of misdirection, worthy of a close-up magician performing three-card monte. Your writing skills were not the issue, and yet that's where you choose to focus. In fact, now that I know that English is your third language I must admit that I am impressed with your language skills; but not with your reasoning. The latter, not the former, was what was at issue. The only reason a brief reference was made to your writing is that it went together with the condescension you've shown in general on this thread- " let them figure out what I'm trying to say." Cyberspace is wonderfully egalitarian- you don't know who your audience is, so don't immediately assume they're your inferior. You still haven't learned this. Let's move on....

<<So here we go: First off Anaxagoras , most physicians ( 99.999% ) don't get their medical info from press releases because they have not passed editorial muster: what that means is that they have not been proof read by the appropriate specia list in that particular field that the article in question deals with. And the reason for this is that we are not
interested in reading " garbage " ( a little french lingo here ).>>

Who the heck cares? What does this have to do with the topic? You claimed you believed that Zonagen was perpetrating a fraud that rivalled the scale of Bre-X. Get real. I still haven't heard you say anything to suggest that you were even exaggerating.

<<May I suggest that if you are going to start reading and interpreting
medical info such as the one you e-mailed to me today on Zonagen that you always start from the last paragraph which states , and I have taken the liberty to paraphrase it for you, that we at ZONA take no responsability for any monetary losses that you , Anaxagoras, may sustain as a result of having taken what we wrote at face value and acted on it....The general approach that I have seen my fellow physicians take in the past on foreign medical literature is that it is best to assume it is wrong till proven otherwise;and in cases where it is followed by the one paragraph disclaimer that Zona put out then we immediately start to worry about possible fraud.( You will not find ANY disclaimers in any or the tens and tens of the highly reputable U.S.journals I spoke about earlier: i.e., the authors have the required mental fortitude to stand by their research.>>

Well, at least it's clear now what we're dealing with here folks (if it wasn't already): La Gros Tuna has just stumbled upon his first press release! Now TA, I'm going to do you a favor here and explain something: press releases sent over PRN are aimed at the investment community. They are not intended as "medical info" for members of the research community, and the language at the end of the release is "cautionary", standard boilerplate slapped on to avoid future litigation in the chance that things don't work out perfectly for investors. Boilerplate. That this info is not up to the editorial standards of NEJM is irrelevant. Oh, by the way, let me also let you in on the fact that Pfizer is developing Viagra, Zonagen is developing Vasomax- it seems you have this confused when you ramble on about your librarian and the British Journal of Urology.

I've made nice money off of shorting Vivus, and as I soon exit Zonagen I'll have made nice money there as well. That's the point, not any display of arrogance.
