Hi Joe, it's a matter about expectations. Everybody thinks AMAT is a good company, no quarrel about that. It is just that you think AMAT is over-valued right now while the Bulls here thinks AMAT has a lot to go, especially me who thinks AMAT is always under-valued so that whenever I need to buy its Options, I just buy them regardless of the price. Actually, every investor start as a Bull, then become a Bear when he sells his investment. I do switch Bull and Bear clothings many times over everyday...Keep Posting in this thread. Maybe you could share with us your strategy about Puts. I, myself, experimented with it recently but abandoned the strategy because I might have done something wrong to have lost. In return, I can give my 2 cents about Calls (click on my name and browse on my previous Postings). The market just started...so long for now!...
