Dood, you're busted. All you can do now is pedal backwards. You won't be able to show your face in church unless you come clean or leave.

Best to just wrap this up and write whatever it is you need to write.

Here's a suggestion for the final paragraph;

It was all going pretty well until I accidentally let it out that I was an attorney. At that point, these cyberthugs pounced like lions on a wildebeest with a broken leg. They immediately started asking me questions about the DNC and related subjects. I then realized that to continue would be to thwart the intentions that placed me on Silicon Investor in the first place.

Curiously, I was unable to sway more than a smattering of the people on Silicon Investor. For the most part, they were rational and almost all appeared quite educated. There were even a few that insinuated through their rhetoric that they were smarter than I am, but I am still studying this phenomenon and will have a supplemental report after the election is decided. There were two or three in particular that actually seemed to understand what was really going on, but I did my best to downplay those assertions.

I also noted a personal feeling on more than one occasion that my underlying core belief that nothing matters more than getting Vice President Gore into the White House was waning. Try as I might, that feeling has not totally disappeared. It is for this reason that I hereby tender my resignation to the firm.

I shall now do what I wanted to do before I got suckered in by you people.
