You ducked the question. Given the choice of multi-channel DWDM or single channel SONET, do you still think Nortel sold Qwest the right equipment?

And please. Don't tell me they gave them what they asked for.

Voice or data has little to do with the choice. It is all bandwidth, and Qwest wanted the best they could get. The best being the system that offered the greatest throughput rate. Instead, Nortel sold Qwest an overpriced, outdated, energy consuming, cumbersome, and inadeqate system, that takes up too much space and manpower.

Fortunately, Qwest has seen the light. SONET is toast.
