Gore is preferred by most voters and most Americans. Bush represents the minority view. Most Americans support Gore's views on the issues. There was a slight edge in the popular vote to Gore. However, Gore has lost the majority of public support by what he is doing. He now is losing credibility in all recent polls. People are fed up with him and if elected he will be a 4 year lame duck. The man has destroyed himself. I have heard a number of people including a close relative of mine express their distaste for his actions and in particular state they were sorry to have voted for him.
