She had the authority, and thus should have taken the governor's lead by recusing herself.

Then who decide this issue?

The Florida Supreme Court, who were elected by Lawton Chiles and with one exception, are all democrats who have given money to their party?

The Palm Beach canvassing board, also democrat controlled?

This is why it doesn't matter WHO is in charge, but that they follow the law.

And the Florida law says, minus acts of god, mechanical failure, or fraud, the votes from the general election will be finalized 7 days after the election.

And that law exists in order to prevent this election from being delayed by political partisans.

And this is why the election standards are a mess.

If they had to write down the exact standards, then it would take the human factor out of determining the election. It would remove the chance for fraud or manual recounts.

Just the very confusion that each party likes to perpetuate.

But that standard to end the election within 7 days is law and not open to wide interpretation. They can challenge how Harris is carrying out that law, but they cannot accuse her of acting illegally.

Regards,

Ron
