NEW YORK, Nov. 19 — Coca-Cola Co., the world’s largest soft-drink maker, is in intensive discussions to acquire Quaker Oats Co., maker of Gatorade and well-known breakfast cereals, sources familiar with the situation told Reuters Sunday.
