Ron, you bring up a good point with this comment: "Making laws to force morality defy that free will."

I think what some if not most from the left fail to see is that we have a group now who are forcing their IMMORALITY down our throats. When you have a candidate who uses a litmus test for the supreme court, in effect you have an individual who already has an agenda and is just trying to fit the pieces in. This is a self serving situation and it will bring the ultimate ruin of this nation. This is why Gore can say with a straight face that he wants the "will" of the people to be done, but fails to see that half the people don't want his version of "will"!

I bring up abortion a lot because it is based on a lie. A lie that a women's freedom consists of her choice whether or not to kill the life within her or let it live. Freedom has nothing to do with this kind of "choice". There is no choice when it comes to murder. If you use your free will to murder you will surely reap what you sew in due time. The democratic party in general is saying to people, "you can do whatever, it's up to you" It all comes under the guise of "choice".

The same thing can be said about homosexuality. I heard somewhere that only 1% of homosexual men live to 70. If true, then this sort of "choice" is killing a segment of the population before their time. Why not call sin for what it is?

The truth is the "choices" the Democrats advocate kill and destroy. The Democratic party in general, has abandoned moral absolutes and this is why even in a small area like vote counting, they can't see their error. The end justifies the means is their motto and because it is based on a lie, it will eventually fail.
