Monu when it comes to abortion there are no good answers. Even the liberals dont run down the street wearing T-shirts saying WOW I HAD AN ABORTION AINT I GREAT!!! I guess the question is do you have the right to kill yourself ? Do you have the right to kill part of yourself ? Ultimately that is an evil which government can't control. Once I step outside of my body and seek to attack another then it is a different issue. It then becomes part of the role of government to enforce safety. The problem here is that I don't want government making those moral decisions for us. It is a two edged sword isn't it ? If we like their moral decisions then it is great. However, isn't it true that the reason most conservatives detest Clinton is because he was trying to use government to change the moral direction of the country ? I would prefer government stay out of the morality business and do what it is intended to do and that is keep us safe in our streets and in our homes and protect our borders from attack. That said however I believe that it is the right and moral obligation of religious people to speak out on the issue as you are doing.
