U.S. voters approve of Clinton policies by giving Gore a plurality of the vote. Nothing can change that. Even if Bush wins the electoral college, history will properly record that Al Gore won the popular vote thereby placing a seal of approval on the Clinton policies. Those hostile to Clinton and Gore will not be able to rewrite history.
