No need to preach to the choir Dale.
My point is that holding out Buffett as a role model when his stock followed a typical tech stock chart the past 3 years doesn't add up. Buffett and Munger don't market time or play sector rotations.
If I was holding anyone out it was bobby beara. His views prevailed. Let give him his due.
When you were in a dither with bobby last spring about the merits of the tech sector, you espoused positions in varrious NASDAQ new economy stocks exactly when they were touching on their highs. You negative comment on BRKA was exactly when BRKA was hitting its low.
Your view then with bobby was that the past had proven you correct. Well another example of past performance not being a guarantee of future sucess.
Dale why you chose to come over to this thread and opine on the merits of overvalued stock investing exactly when many of these overvalued issues were peaking is beyond me.
If I have it wrong, feel free to set me straight
Best Regards,
Mad2
