I like the points you and Dave have raised. Very thoughtful & interesting. I tend to agree especially with most of the things you raised in the post I'm respoinding to. Tendency for things to overshoot, bottoms no one wants to think about (I still think there's a possible downside target of 1K on NAZ - not sure how probable at this point, but not out of the question - 2K much more likely) and that bottoming could take years. It seems there's so much anticipation right now of a bottom, capitulation, etc., that it can't happen anytime soon, though we will certainly have intermediate bottoms.
