Jim, I ran across this on the RB thread. Seems Verizon's position (if post is accurate) is a little more sinister than simple neglect. Does lend some credence to the speculation that Verizon views G* more as a competitor than a value added product. Wondering if your sources can confirm the apparent rift between GUSA and Verizon?

I've emailed the attached post, and several others I've gathered, to G* sales and G* IR, adding my own personal less than satisfactory experience with local Verizon outlets.

Pierre

Try this on for size. I went to see my local G* dealer LISTED ON THE G* WEBSITE for N.C. I had spoken to him
about G* twice in the past 3 months and he was enthusiastic and well informed. Well today I finally met with him and
his partner today. I was stunned. So far he has sold one phone. But more importantly, to get his Verizon dealer status he
had to stop advertising G* products!!!! The G* rep went to see him a few days ago and was outraged. Apparently in
some of the Verizon stores(not all owned by Vodophone?) their lawyers(per the dealer) are enforcing this restriction.
The dealer said the G* rep was going to raise #### about this. The dealer couldn't understand why they believe his
selling G* is a conflict of interest. He still believes in G* and will sell their products but only if someone asks for them.
He showed me the Q* phone. He said he only sold one despite 2 mos. of newspaper ads because the price was too
steep. Tis all true. Talk about an uphill battle.
