Joe, re: Even though you may prefer to keep your head in the sand, the Democrat activists who go to jails and homeless shelters to recruit people to vote know something that you may be denying to yourself. Speaking of urban legends, the best one I heard is about the reason so many old folks in PB voted for Buchanan. Supposedly the Democrats went to the nursing homes in P.B. county and got all the really feeble old people out to vote, but they told them to just "punch the second hole", thinking that would be for Gore. re: "As far as being for people who don't think, what do you mean by that?" I mean that when a group of people are generalized to be less moral, or lazy, or greedy with money, or less intelligent, it's an expression of prejudice. And prejudice means lack of thought, or pre-judging. The fact that somebody is referring to Democrats doesn't make it more thoughtful than somebody referring to Jews or Germans or any other group.
