Thurston, I just finished reading the secretaries brief to the court. An outstanding brief outlining nearly every salient point expressed here.

The first part of the brief focuses on the responsibility of the voter, and the fact that "voter error" is no reason to delay certification and hand-recount the election. The second section focuses beautifully on the laws related to the 14th, and the secretaries responsibility toward that law.

I can detect no logical holes in her argument. And she recites ample court cases to back up her position.

If the court does rule against her, I am even more convinced it would be solely for political reasons, and not based on the law.
