The power to mention it to his or her Republican contacts and see any concerns broadcast on every network 5 minutes later, then discussed at length for days.

Remember what happened when somebody put 20 ballots on the wrong stack? It's still being mentioned at less than 1 minute intervals everywhere in the country, including on TV, radio, and internet news sources.

That's the power of a free press (a free press that will probably be eliminated shortly after Bush starts making supreme court appointments and he packs it with the local equivalent of Iranian mullahs).
