are the preferred solution to meet the combined needs of home offices,
small businesses or branch offices with fewer than 20 PC users. The
compact design, simple operation and affordability of the OfficeConnect
family of hubs, switches, fax and print servers has encouraged the
swift adoption of 3Com's technology in small office environments.
First launched in February 1996, OfficeConnect solutions now provide
data networking services to over 2 million users worldwide.

"We are pleased to be working with Micron to help build a
cost-effective and easy-to-use solution," said Eric Johnson, director
of entry level systems, 3Com Corporation. "The combination of Micron's
award-winning servers and 3Com's best-of-class hardware and intelligent
TranscendWare software offers businesses a reliable network that can

protection equipment, including surge suppressors, uninterruptible
power supplies (UPS), and power conditioning equipment. The Smart UPS
family of products provides a cost-way to protect a Vetix Server from
going down during a power failure. Each APC Smart-UPS ships with APC's
PowerChute plus UPS power management and diagnostic software to provide
network administrators with useful UPS information and great
flexibility in configuring the UPS reaction to power events.

"Micron's reputation, combined with our hardware, give the customer
peace of mind that systems will always remain operative," said Ed
Bednarcik General Manager of the Network Power Systems Division of APC.
"This is crucial for any business person who relies on consistent
access to a network."

In addition, Micron is offering products from U.S. Robotics, Plextor,
and RAID leader Mylex.

"Seamless integration of a network into a business is key, and our
support services and complete server package ensure that to each
customer," Klene said.

At the core of the network solution is Micron's award-winning server
hardware. Among the server product line is the Vetix Mxi, a versatile
server that can be adapted and expanded for customers' unique
requirements and future company growth. Manageability and security are
enhanced through integrated hardware instrumentation -- I2C Bus and DMI

contributing to a low total cost of ownership without sacrificing
serviceability. With the flexibility to reconfigure the Micron Vetix
