Hello everybody,

Thank you all for your suggests but I still come up blank. I was wrong about the Bio being soldered. I was looking at the wrong piece. When I switched the jumpers to the 2 and 3 positions the computer doesn't turn on at all. I took out the battery for a little while but the system still wouldn't do anything. All's it does is sound like it's going to start but nothing happens. It doesn't go into the bios startup at all. There are no beeps or anything. Pressing the delete button or the insert button does nothing. The screen just stays blank. I changed out the video card and that didn't do anything. I know the monitors working cause I am using it now on my old 486. I will take the suggesting and call ABIT and get a replacement bios. That is a lot cheaper than buying a new motherboard but on the other hand I did want to upgrade this system eventually so this might be a good time. Wife thinks not though. My question is do I need a special tool to pull out the bios? I was trying to tug on it but it wouldn't buge. I like this little adventure but I miss my system. This Dinosarus is slow.

Thank you all for your help

Stephen
