"You learn about it by have some knowledge of neuroscience (nerve science)."

Umm, Richard, I have some knowledge of neuroscience and I am completely unaware of how drinking anywhere near a normal amount of water will kill off brain cells. Alcohol is an easy one, not only is it a metabolic poison, it will cross the blood/brain barrier. But water? Quantities large enough to upset the electrolyte imbalance enough to cause celluar morbidity, even a small amount, will have other severe effects, like loss of motor function. Or are you alluding to some other mechanism?
