SynQuest Announces Support for Open Applications Group Standard

SynQuest Web-enabled Supply Chain Solutions Leverage XML Standards to Provide Integration with Internet and Legacy Business Applications
SynQuest, Inc. (NASDAQ:SYNQ) today announced it has joined the Open Applications Group, Inc. and supports the Open Applications Group Interface Specification (OAGIS) in its One2One Solutions for web-enabled supply chain management. By leveraging OAGIS, SynQuest provides straightforward integration of real-time management and financial optimization capabilities with web-based trading partners, online marketplaces and legacy ERP applications.

The business process-based OAGIS specification contains the largest set of Extensible Markup Language (XML) Document Type Definition (DTD) files in the world and makes it easy to connect disparate e-business, logistics and financials applications. Leveraging a Java-based component architecture and XML, SynQuest applications have the flexibility to be integrated with internal legacy applications, such as ERP, web store fronts, and in pure business-to-business and independent trading exchange environments.
