MJXC - The Majestic Companies' Corporate America Program Lands the United States Marine Corps SAN DIEGO, Nov 20, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- The Majestic Companies, Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board: MJXC), announced that the United States Marine Corps has agreed to begin sponsoring Majestic's SAFE-T-BAR(TM) in school buses in their recruiting area of the Pacific Northwest. Majestic's Corporate America Program, run by International Marketing Corporation, was developed to identify corporate sponsors to provide funding to school districts to offset the cost of the installation of the SAFE-T-BAR. The Program has been further clarified under the "Adopt-A-Bus" Program, whereby corporate sponsors place a placard onto buses that are outfitted with SAFE-T-BAR's. "We see this as just the beginning," said Mark Van Buskirk, President of International Marketing Corporation, "the Marines are traditionally identified as the troops most willing to be sent in first. We are pleased that they are continuing in that tradition. We are, however, in conversations with the other branches of the military and do believe that they might be following very closely behind." "We are tremendously enthusiastic at the prospects from this Program. We are encouraged that the other corporations that International Marketing is currently negotiating with will become new sponsors," said Steve Rosenthal, President of Majestic Transportation. "It appears that this is the beginning of the Adopt-A-Bus Program being accepted across the country with open arms. It really is a 'win-win-win' program. The Corporate America sponsors wins, the school district wins, and the kids win." The company anticipates that the Adopt-A-Bus Program will promote sales and overall market awareness of the SAFE-T-BAR. "As with any new product, the SAFE-T-BAR has an entry level barrier that it must break through. The Corporate America Program is our 'ground breaking' tool," continued Rosenthal. "We trust that with this continued and specific approach to marketing the SAFE-T-BAR, it may only be a matter of time before we begin to see school districts across America installing the SAFE-T-BAR in school buses in an effort to protect our children."
