I’m in the midst of setting up a cable modem in my Long Island test facility, and this solution is just what I’m looking for. The cable company told me I’d have to place the cable modem where the cable first comes into my house. That’s at the opposite end of the building. Instead of running all sorts of Ethernet cabling, or installing a wireless networking system, if this technology were available now, I could plug the cable modem into the AC at one end and the computers at the other. Period.<<
