All Coop said was that "rumors were unfounded". Meaning, there could be multiple buyout offers comming in at any time or in progress, but that these situations are extremely confidential. And, until
an offer is actually made & accpted by FORE it is still only a "rumor" so he is safe to say this.

And besides, denying "rumor" is the only thing he can do. Do you think he would actually admit to the press that "Yes, we're in the
process of being bought out". If he said this, it would cause such wild gyrations in stock price that it would kill any buy-out deal negotiations.

Hang in there! They got some great products comming out. They're in the hottest growth industry sector, and there is plenty
of pie out there for FORE as well as the others!
