Hi Alan,

Just for laughs I turned on c-span one night and watched the actual court-room case re: the Fla. Secretary-of-State's ability to exercise Fla. law and certify the election as of last Saturday. I think it was in a lower circuit-court.

Anyway, at the plaintiffs table sat none other than David Bois and one other lawyer for the democrats. They were toasted by the republican lawyers. Bois came up with absolutely *nothing* in support of his case & the republicans were ready for prime-time: citing the law, case-law, precedents, common-sense logic etc.

After 1 hour of this I concluded that there was NO WAY the judge could rule for the dems. No way.

The next thing I see is a shot outside the court-room, after the proceedings completed and there was none other than David Bois in front of the cameras. He may not have realized that c-span was on him in the court room then followed him to the hallway outside, but to hear him talk to the press, you'd think it was Clarence Darrow crowing about his latest victory/vindication. He lied through his teeth about the proceedings and what his expectations were for a verdict. The difference between the deferential sycophant David Bois in the courtroom and the Great Orator in front of TV cameras was VERY instructive.

It goes to show you just how much b.s. these guys figure they can get away with when they aren't held to strict accountability.
