That is why I emphasized it.

Regardless of the attempt to try to reframe my question, I have yet to see a scenario where the citizens of this country need arms to defend themselves against their own military, yet the "no restraints on guns"-lobby continues to tout this.

My position? People can have all the guns they want. Just need to store them, and the ammunition, at their local "gun club" (hell, call it the "Militia Club") so they won't do what just happened to a family acquaintance: he found he had cancer, and killed himself after killing his wife (Plymouth Minn). Not saying he could not have stabbed her, but it is easier to pull a trigger.
