Bush was elected by 56% of the states, to 36% for Gore. 2,434 counties went to Bush and 677 to Gore. So you tell me whom should win - just because Gore got all the colored votes in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami - does this make him the winner. This is why Hillary Clinton wants to do away with electorial college - the democrats will have power forever! West
