Bob,

Smart move to design variants of the jukebox based upon different hard disk sizes. As production economies bring down the cost of production, the company can "lower" the price by substituting a higher capacity disk for the base unit at the same price. This strategy has worked well for PC manufacturers and should be a natural approach for these internet appliances.

A 40 GB hard drive should hold approximately 600 CDs of music at standard compression rates. That's getting pretty impressive!

(Side note to JT: "Bob" is not BusyBump, nor is he BusyBump's wife. However, I have been unable to confirm whether or not "Bob" is BusyBump's newborn child, Troy. Perhaps you could spend a few hundred hours researching that critical question.)
