Cisco is firmly on the G pedestal. The only thing that can knock it off, based on GG theory, is another discontinuous innovation. Some contend that the all optical network represents such a threat, but that will not occur until someone figures out a way to introduce an optical router, which some say violates the laws of physics.

NetApp is posited to be a Gorilla, but at this point remains a candidate for that title. The risk is therefore higher, but arguably, so is the reward.
