Optical Market Falls Seven Percent lightreading.com Clavenna admits he's puzzled by Dell'Oro's information on Cisco, which he says doesn't seem in sync with the pattern of growth the firm reports for various categories of optical gear. "Cisco remains the beneficiary of Cerent next-gen Sonet, which validates that space." But with little or no revenue in the DWDM area, he says, Cisco's high growth figures make it a bit of "an oddball" in the report.
