I clearly stated that the vote on civil rights was supported by Republicans in greater numbers as a % than Democrats. Lyndon Johnson would have lost the civil rights legislation without the Republican support of it and that is a historical fact. As a % there were more Democrats opposed to it than Republicans. Your response was nothing but garbage
As for affirmative action it is the other side of the coin of racial profiling. Both are identical. Both say that you should be singled out for special treatment because of your group identity. In one case (afirmative action) the group likes to be singled out but in the other case (racial profiling) then they dont like to be singled out.
In my opinion we dont identify by group but by the rights of the individual. Remember those words content of character.
