Remember that Holidility works on the side that has momentum. Institutional money is generally long IMO. With them on vacation and the individual investor ruling on Friday and again at the end of December, I expect little in the way of rallies. Individuals will be taking losses. Shorts will be taking advantage of Holidility IMHO. I like what Julie said about sell ( and short) the rallies working now just as buy the dips worked last Winter. I think that Carpe thought this up in August but I didn't hear him follow up his words with actions. I liked the idea too, but could not get myself out of the buy the dips mindframe so I sit and watch my gains from a early this year dwindle. Fortunately it is a very slow process as I am still so little invested compared to the Spring.
