Brandon, I bought a chunk of a big-cap tech fund around NDX 3200. For that investment, I asked myself if it will be higher 6,12, or 18 months in the future. I still have to say yes. Historically the beginning of a recession is one of the best times to "invest" in stocks. As for trading, I've pretty much abandoned Nasdaq (this is the 3rd abandonment in my career) and am playing NYSE exclusively, generally overnight. Last week was my best of the year and all on the long side. Beer cos, nursing homes and quirky boutiques may not be that sexy, but up is up and down is down. Was the LV "house" a little nicer than the big D? I think I know the answer <g>. Alan
