hey, it wasn't a recommendation to buy ORCL stock.
i was talking about Oracle the company, its installed base of databases and its army of programmers that ARBA and CMRC can never hope to match.
and i don't own any ORCL either now, i don't like being late to parties to watch drunk people and empty bottles.
ORCL after the huge runup this past year was already way beyond my price/sales ratio comfort zone.
in fact i wanted to short it at the top too, good news already priced in, the chart was too parabolic to last and the trendline about to break, but i like Larry Ellison as a person and his style too much, and was busy shorting elsewhere.
why short ORCL when you can short Corvis, Infospace, or some other t-rd?
