While I can't condone Liddy and Colson, in the case of North, the irony there(and you probably won't like this, and the conservatives won't believe I feel this way) is that I liked the plan re:Iran Contra. The plan was awesome and it worked...get cash to the Contras the old fashion way, launder it.

I never liked Danny Ortega or the rest of those Sandanistas. We had a congressman in my district who was like a personal ambassador to the Sandanista gov't(Mike Barnes) and I admit I liked it when the Sandanistas were thrown out. It ruined his and Bianca Jagger's day. I have met many people from Nicaragua and they all say that things now are much better than they were under Ortega and Samoza before.

But, Ollie still lied before Congress and if he wants to stand by that fine, but he should recuse himself for life on the entire subject of perjury.
