Nah. (it is a big deal)
It's big savings to pre-sort (standard) by zipcodes.
and if you have enough going to the Same Zip you save more.
Of course they (Amazon) sent them Bulk.
(they may not have broken it down more than 3 or 4 <zip> numbers but it's still bulk.)
(don't know if they still have pre-stamped permit numbers),,,,(i think the name substitutes for the permit #)
It's been 4 years since i did it.

(i'm sure) With the volume they do...They even have contracts with their Express carriers for all of their mailings/deliveries...

If amazon sent a mailing to 25 million customers...and saved 15 cents on each mailing....that is significant bank.
(and if they do 3 or 4 repeat mailings the numbers grow)
