Agreed, agreed, agreed. I think another thing that people fail to mention is the US trade deficit. A "devaluation" of the dollar is looming and this will delay the Fed's ability to cut rates as the inflation risks will be too great.

All in all, a hard landing is in store for 2001, and I suspect high-end real estate prices will come a tumbling down with the economy.

Looking for 1996 levels in real estate before we bottom out.
