OK, "what could knock NTAP off its pedestal."

1. More efficient content management/file system/OS combination innovation on a hardware platform that costs less to manufacture than NTAP from a company able to market the product against NTAP.

2. Someone copying NTAP's file system technology (WAFL) and successfully fending off NTAP's efforts to defend its IPR.

3. NTAP's failure to deliver the promised WAFS/VI-based products.

4. NTAP's failure to port the content management software to the ONTAP platform.

5. A competitor deciding that it will sacrifice its 50%+ gross margins in order to compete more effectively against NTAP.

6. Release of a defective product that adversely affects its customer's reliance on NTAP products.

7. Severe parts shortages from suppliers, especially Seagate disk drives and EMLX FC components.

(The list in the 10-K is much more complete with good discussion. I recommend you read it.)

Now please cut down on the emotive comments and self deprecation and please regain your constructive attitude. I don't wish to spar with you anymore.
