No one can answer the question "how long". When you know the answer, you missed the ride. Yes, MSFT is still the OS Gorilla. And it will remain the general purpose OS Gorilla. It is gunning for the Server OS Gorilla status and has a very good shot at it with Windows 2000 Data Center. It's pretty awesome. By the way, VRTS rides into the data center with W2K DC.
