in a statement made in austin yesterday...president-elect bush said that the democrats counting behavior is obnoxious...he further explained that disenfranchising military voters would surely create a huge backlash against democrats in future elections. mrs laura bush, a former school-teacher, sitting near her husband, smiled and scratched two words off his vocabulary list. an aide later explained that our military give up many constitutional rights when sworn in...the right to vote vote is not one of those and it is cherished even by soldiers who choose not to vote.
