re >>I am going out on a limb here and guessing that you are an "X-Files" fan.<<

Never watch it. This makes you wrong on a number of points. I never said there was massive fraud going on, just a statistically biased attempt to change a result that the democrats don't like.

re >>Why is it a tragedy if those military people had their votes thrown out because they didn't follow a procedure that is very difficult<<

What are you talking about here? The procedure was simple, just like filling out a butterfly ballot, and the servicemen did fill them out mostly correctly. Many of the ballots were postmarked late because the mail moves slowly from ship or remote outpost to a mail depot. Others were not postmarked because someone at the post office, not the voting servicemen, goofed.

Your friends in low places, the same ones who lobbied prison inmates for their votes, stood over the shoulders of election commission officials to ensure as many of these ballots as possible were invalidated for ANY reason as outlined on their cheat sheets.

At a minimum it will take away the slogan, "every vote counts", from Al Gore's minions.
