I give Gore a good shot at getting the prez in 2004. It all depends on how he takes it from here. IMO, the American people have been patient because they understand we are only talking about a few hundred votes. It's not like he lost by 100K votes in FL and is trying to bend the rules. If he drops it after the hand re-counts, he can exit with dignity.

Bush is inheritting a mess that Clinton created. There's nothing Bush can do to save the stock markets in his presidency. The ball is already rolling downhill at full steam and Bush is going to be the fall guy. This will bode well for Gore in 2004 if the Dems give him the bid. If it ain't Gore, it will be another Dem in 2004, IMO.
