=====NEWS Release Nov 20 2000====== Cyber Group Network Takes Products to Market otcnn.com By Peter Lim Published by OTCNN.com 11/20/2000 03:04 PM CST
The Cyber Group Network Corp. (OTCBB: CGPN) is just about ready to take to market the products it has been developing over the last several years. The company used the COMDEX Fall 2000 exposition, the largest Internet technology meeting place in the world, last week as platform to showcase its products, ranging from comics to a high tech device to track lost or stolen computers.
"We're about to take all our products into market," Gregory Evans, Cyber Group chief strategic officer, told OTCNN. "We've built good products; now we're going to be focusing on marketing and generating revenues."
Headquartered in San Bernardino, CA, Cyber Group is a technology company with the three main goals of computer security technology, patented public Internet access devices, and acquisitions of Internet, communications and financial service sector industries to expand its resources. The products have received a better-than-expected response from the market since their unveiling, Evans said.
The company's E-Snitch, in particular, a device which tracks missing or stolen computers, received its share of attention from top national and international computer manufacturer companies, Evans said. "Between government agencies, schools and companies, we're talking about 32 entities interested in becoming manufacturers of (the E-Snitch)," he said. "These are people who’ve come to us and said, 'We like your technology, we saw that it works, we want it.'"
Earlier this month, the company demonstrated the functionality and capabilities of E-Snitch (formerly C-4 Chip) via teleconference and to private investors, a law enforcement official for San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department, Hi-Tech Crime Division, reporters and an AT&T representative.
The company also received "thousands" of new orders for its animated series put out by its subsidiary CGPN Comics, Tales of a Hi-Tech Hustler at COMDEX. Currently in its second issue, the comic is available both in traditional paper form and on the Internet. Cyber Group's other products on display at COMDEX included BigTarget.com and CyberCrime Corp. CyberCrime is comprised of specialists in the areas of ex-computer hacking, hi-tech theft, private investigation and law enforcement committed to educating, informing and assisting consumers, businesses and organizations on how to detect, prevent and defend systems against hi-tech hustlers.
"Right now we're really focusing on generating the revenues, and for the shareholders, it means building shareholder value," Evans said. "After we release our products and build revenue, then we'll sit back and see where we want to go from there."
